Steve inspected BEOTHUK, the 101’/31.1m Kuipers built in 2008. This Dutch, purpose built Expedition Yacht is of the highest quality available on the market today. We hear this all the time but BEOTHUK is at least “Feadship” quality. Salon Pilothouse All the equipment was designed and built to the highest standards. The finish work is superlative and refined. The stainless work, both interior and exterior, is the finest I have ever seen. The bridge, with its DMP system is Star Wars and has everything, including great visibility with a panoramic observation lounge. Master Stateroom The 3 guest state rooms below are all sumptuously laid out with the full width, centrally located Master seducing with her king bed and accoutrements. The salon is most inviting with the latest AV equipment. The on deck galley and crew mess are well thought out and up to date. The crews quarters for 4 is finished in the same high quality as the rest of the guest spaces. I personally love the 270 degree view from the forward facing dining salon and wet bar. Dining Forward with View The equipment spaces are incredible! The engine room is spotless and fully accessible. There is an extensive fully separate pump and machinery room on the tank deck that frees up the engine room from any clutter. Quantum zero speed stabilization provides comfort at sea and at anchor. Engine Room The full walk around main deck makes for efficient boat handling. The sheltered main aft deck has dining for 8 with curved stairs leading to a generous swim platform to launch and receive tenders and toys, also there is access to the lazarette and engine room. The Boat deck holds a Castoldi tender and has al fresco seating with a substantial stainless grill. The Sun Deck has privacy and a tiled Jacuzzi.
