Accommodations

KIRING sleeps 9 in the owners and guest accommodation in 4 staterooms each with ensuite bathrooms. There are day heads on the main deck and the fly bridge. Crew accommodations include 8 berths, 3 heads and 3 showers. The Captain's quarters are separate on the main deck.

Vessel Walkthrough

The interior is of Terence Drisdale Design. Throughout the theme is of limed-teak wood together with carpets and fabrics generally in blue, white and oatmeal.

Main Deck

Forward is the FOC'SLE DECK. The mast has teak steps up to a teak decked CROWS NEST with varnished capping rail.
 
The fold down crane is telescopic serving the tenders and the toys. Starboard of amidships is the escape hatch for the crew quarters. The forward part of the superstructure has a vertical varnish planked effect, as do the aft quarter bulwarks.
 
Doors to port and starboard enter the WHEELHOUSE area, which is semi, raised by 3 steps. The wheelhouse has the wheel and consol amidships and two high low chairs type KAB411. Large windows afford excellent visibility. Chart tables are to port and starboard.
 
Down the 3 steps and to starboard is the Captain's office centred around an L shaped desk unit. Amidships are storage cupboards and access to equipment. Aft of the office arrt and starboard on the forward bulkhead. The starboard settee is L-shaped with a dining table. On the salon bulkhead, to port is a single place settee and side cabinet. To port of amidships is the hatch opening to a full stairway, with a door in the transom, down to the SWIMMING PLATFORM. This platform is of teak grating over stainless steel. The passerelle is telescopic and stows back into the transom and under the aft deck. There is access to the lazarette.

Lower Deck

Forward are the CREW QUARTERS. To port and starboard are FOUR similar TWN CABINS each with upper and lower berths, sharing a bathroom with a single shower stall, w.c. and washbasin. There is also a separate w.c. and washbasin.
 
The CREW MESS has a curved sofa and dining table plus a pantry area with a sink and a drainer, microwave and worktop. In this area is the escape hatch to the fore deck. The LAUNDRY ROOM with a washing machine and dryer plus a deep sink, formica worktop and lockers space. The safety exit from the forward guest area enters in this area. There is a walk-in DRY STORE and a walk-in PANTRY. The crew quarters décor is in off white formica with mahogany wood trim.
 
The bilge area, underneath the crew accommodation, has standing room. This provides easy access to plumbing, tank to the port cabin. All guest cabins have new oak parquet floors, plasma screens, DVD and digital decoders for satellite television, plus internal phones.

Upper Deck

The OWNER'S STUDY is full width forward and above the wheelhouse with panoramic views forward. There is a writing desk to port with two easy chairs opposite and on the starboard side a raised teak decked platform with an expanded L-shaped sofa and coffee table. Mattresses are positioned on the windowsill of the panoramic windows.
