John and Steve inspected CARYALI, the 86' 2008 Nordhavn. Caryali is hull # 1 of this series and she has a little over 3000 hours on her twin 425 hp Lugger engines. The owner's made some modifications and did new paint last year when the boat was in Europe. Master Stateroom The interior quality is quite good with high quality fittings throughout. There is a large master stateroom on the main deck with his and her heads. The engine room in general is well done and has been very well kept. Aft View She has a good captain's cabin behind the wheelhouse and the bridge is well equipped. The present crew has been aboard since the build and has taken very good care of her. She is clean and neat in all aspects. She has the layout with the "4" cabin, this is a kid's cabin, but it does work. Upper Deck The changes they made in removing the interior stair to the flybridge and installing one on the aft pilothouse deck and extending the flybridge were well done and well thought out. On the flybridge they upgraded the BBQ to a large DCS and installed a pop up TV. There is a very large settee with table, hot top and sunning area. All of the features combined with the hard cover makes the flybridge a great lounging and entertainment area. There is a second set of crews quarters for two aft between the engine room and Lazarrete with a laundry area across from them.
