I am pleased to report that after hull number one of the new design completing 15,000 nm in 15 months that real life use has confirmed the best numbers we receive from the tank testing that was done in Vancouver BC.
I can state without hesitation that this is one of the best deals in a semi-custom EXPLORER YACHT available. The new design has allowed us to move the master stateroom amidships, create a crew service and access passage to the lower deck from their forepeak quarters, you have an option of putting in interior access to the engine room for use during extreme weather, a full head in the sky lounge, creating a versatile living area that can be an office, lounge or fourth queen stateroom as needed.
The EXPLORERS have 8 water tight compartments plus separate compartments for the stabilizers. The keel is in reality a separate skeg and can be damaged with out effecting the hull. The exterior is designed to be easy to keep up and to take the bumps and use that go with exploration voyaging, not to make you a slave to the varnish work. However teak details and trim can be added. Exterior steel is zinc coated and 316 stainless is used extensively to reduce up-keep. The hull can be un-faired or completed to yacht finish depending on your needs. The house is always done to yacht finish.
