Darwin Series Cantiere Delle Marche Yachts for Sale

A little background, Cantiere Delle Marche is located in Italy on the Adriatic, in the city of Ancona , in the region of Marche, which is between the Apennie Mountains and the Adriatic sea. The city of Ancona is the capital city of the region and the heart of yacht building on the Adriatic coast of Italy.



There are numerous yacht builders located in an area of a few miles, companies like Fincantieri, one of the largest ship and yacht builders in the world, Riva, Ferretti , CRN, Custom Line, and numerus others are all located in the area.



Cantiere Delle Marche stands out from this crowd as they are the highest quality Explorer Yacht builders in this area and it could be said, in all of Italy. I have been at the yard a number of times, from their beginning to recently. From vessel #1 to their current build the quality and sensibility of their Explorer Yachts has been outstanding. CDM's vessels are all custom built and tend to be held by their owners for long periods of time as they roam about the world.

A bit about the boats available.

"UPTIGHT"

I was able to inspect Uptight recently, she is a cockpit version, basically and 102' with the cockpit added on. The cockpit is set up with everything you need to do serious offshore fishing but is also great for diving and other water sports. She was built to support a number of fishing boats and has all the features needed to do this including a fueling system and 12680 gallons of fuel. She has the cabin capacity to sleep 13 guests in 6 cabins including a private master cabin on the pilothouse deck with private deck aft and a second master / VIP on the lower deck.

"CAPE COD II"

She is a more standard model of the 102' Darwin series with 5 guest staterooms, the master stateroom on the main deck and, 4 guest staterooms below which includes to VIP staterooms, she accommodates 10 guests in total. She has all the features that make this series a wonderful worldwide Explorer yacht.

"ATLAS"

She is a more traditional styled version with the master stateroom down in the most stable and comfortable location in a vessel with additional guest cabins also on the lower level. The captain's cabin is located behind the wheelhouse with a comfortable sky lounge aft of it. The interior style is raised panel done in teak. This gives it a very warm and rich feel.

"GRANIL"

The 86' CDM is what grew to be the 102' version, and she offers many of the same features as the 102 and 106 but in a more compact format. She can be crewed by a smaller number though she does have space for 4 comfortably. Granil has a more modern interior style with all staterooms on the lower deck. The lazarette is a bit more compact then the 102 and she has a good size but smaller swim platform then the 102 versions.
