Impetus Inace 95' is out on the water and cruising about. In the out of water images you can see her Quantum Maglift Stabilizers. Impetus is the only Explorer in the world to have these. You ask why? Cost is the answer, they a 3 times the cost of Quantum Marine other models. The upsides are great: 1st they are fully efficient from zero speed to top speed, 2nd, they cause very little drag. In comparison to her sisterships she picks up .5 of a knot of speed. 3rd, they do not hang down, so no issues with damage if grounded. 4th, it is very hard for lines and nets to catch on them.

Their efficiency across the full range of speed and very effective roll dampening is the effect you will appreciate the most. If you want cruise at 6 knots to fish no problem, she is rock solid. If you are in extreme weather and need to slow down you can reduce speed to the best level, 5, 4, 3 knots, they still work perfectly. On must boats you have to compromise between speed and roll stability.
