Voyages of Zembra
A few photos of
the trip to the Galapagos.
Zembra in the Galopagos- Click for Larger
The owner of Zembra III was nice enough to share a few photos of
his trip to the Galapagos with us. They ran straight from Cabo San Lucas enjoying good weather
and a trouble free trip. His basic comment was "It was everything I heard and more". I will not go into
a lot of detail as I am hoping he or some of his family will send us a note in their own words. Zembra III left the Galapagos last week and has just finished making a trouble free transit of the Panama canal and is on her way to the San Blas Islands.
"We got lucky with perfect weather. Total transit time 0930 - 1630hrs. Now doing 9kts , 047 deg true heading, wind 15.8 T port quarter, into 5 foot chop, 1500rpm." EXODUS is not far behind ZEMBRA III, she is on her way through the canal but heading Northeast from there. She will be arriving in Miami to participate in the Miami Boat Show. I hope to have updates from her latest cruising log to post soon.
I look forward to seeing you at the Miami Yacht and
Brokerage Show. Best wishes for 2004
