I just got back from the first sea trials on the new INACE 98' Explorer
designed by Jon Overing with a Michael Kirschstein interior in raised
panel American Cherry. The vessel has all the top equipment, Cat A rated main engines, twin
Northern lights gen sets, large Nautical Structures crane and
passarelle, full Head Hunter systems, the best of the best.

This expedition yacht is stunning- initial sea trials show the boat to be quiet and
very stable. She is built to ABS and MCA and flew through her stability
tests. When we put her beam to the seas she demonstrated a very
comfortable lady-like motion in the short steep seas off Fortaleza
(think lumpy Gulfstream), this was without the Quantum Marine zero speed
stabilizer system in operation.

INACE Shipyard has been quite busy with launchings this quarter. Besides the
yacht department launching, they have launched 3 military vessels- a
177' (54.2m) Fast Patrol vessel and 2 x 75' fast coastal patrol vessels.
The commercial department has just finished final seatrials on a 175'
(53m) Offshore supply vessel, just launched a 100' (30.5m) tractor tug and
a 70' crew boat.
