Finalists included Diverse Projects’ Black Pearl, Moonen Shipyard’s Livia, Jongert’s Lucia M, and Hakvoort Sheepswerf’s Snowbird. ISS awards finalists are selected by ISS peers, with winners selected by a distinguished and independent international panel. Built and recently launched by NISI Yachts, NISI’s groundbreaking design infuses casual opulence, legendary styling and unsurpassed engineering in a 24-meter megayacht. She is the first and only yacht under 30 meters built to commercial RINA Charter Class and MCA Commercial (MGN 280) certification.
“It is an absolute honor to receive this award from the International Superyacht Society. On behalf of the entire NISI Yachts team, we thank the respected panel of ISS judges and our peers for distinguishing NISI as the year’s most celebrated yacht in her class,” said Christos Livadas, Chairman of NISI Yachts. “NISI, with naval architecture by Ward Setzer, is a true modern classic, renowned for her casual opulence and charm combined with state-of-the-art technology and outstanding performance.”
NISI made her European debut in France at the 2011 Cannes International Boat Show. While in Cannes she was awarded ‘Best Design’ at the 2011 World Yachts Trophy gala. NISI was also recently named a Robb Report ‘Best of the Best’ winner in the annual ‘wings and water’ category, celebrated alongside the most sought after business and personal aircraft, Gulfstream, Bombardier and Piaggio.
